Thanks to Alexliam and his post (in spanish) about the compatibility of the blog with the navigation with an iPhone, I realized this blog isn’t compatible!

Oh my God, this blog which main topic is iPhone and Apple, can’t be no iPhone friendly, so I’ve ran to install the plugin that let’s you make your blog compatible with it, the plugin is called WPTouch.

Once the plugin is installed as the rest of the plugins, you can configure it through Settings->WPTouch, if you pay attention at the bottom of the configuration page, you will see a few recommendations of a plugins you may install and some pages you could make to explode all the features of WPTouch, for the time being, I have only installed a pair of plugins, Blip.it to visualize the embedded videos in the posts, and flickrRRS to show photos on my flickr account.

The other recommendations are making some pages called ‘Links’, ‘Archives’ and ‘Photos’ but I think I won’t make it.

Best Web Gallery is a website shich recopiles the best webs around net.

As they say, collect a wide range of quality design websites which means websites with visual, technical and creativity.

I’ve just submitted my website visualDelusions, I hope it like they but I know this is only a hobbie and maybe my homepage needs more work. I have some ideas to improve it like show the lastest post.

If finally they select my homepage as “Best Web” I’ll notice you.

The company Quark usually knowed by his product QuarkXpress has launched the website I Love Design.

This site pretends to be a place to group a designers and shows his job and with one thing in common, the love for the design. There are many famous designers like David Carson, Peter Saville or Chip Kidd. Is a great oportunity to see their work and share yours with the comunity, you have to register with a single and simple step, set your name, mail address, location… and the you can share your works, comment others and see exclusive interviews.

I’ve just arrived at home and I saw a package over the table and guess what, there are my moo cards!

The result is as I expected, the quality print is excellent like the position, that is exactly as I wanted but I have only one complaint about the degree of the logo, it’s a bit poor if you see it closer but no matters for the rest of people.

You can see them on my flickr but I’m going to show you some of the pictures I have taken during the opening.

My Threadless submission has ended the scoring period with an average of 2,40 over 5 points and 1,523 persons has voted the design.

First of all I want to thank you for voting, I know I have been a bit spamer with the design but the prize is very good. And now what? I didn’t recieved any mail from Threadless or nothing else, in the FAQ Threadless says:

If your design is chosen, you will receive a cash prize and a gift certificate to purchase some of your shirts. You will also be mentioned on the website and may become famous! Note that as the site grows we hope to be able to offer the winners more

Ok but, I want to be notified about how my design is working, anybody knows what I have to do? And what is going now?

I have just ordered a pack of 100 moo cards, for those who don’t know what is it, there are a little cards of 28 x 70 mm to use as personal card.

The peculiarity of the card is you can personalize it with an image in front and a text in the back. There are a lot of designs you can choose from a different artists and designers or if you are a creative mind, you can design your own moo card as I do.

In total I have designed 9 different moo cards but I have choosen only 3. Here you can see the 6 ruled out designs:

And now the 3 designs I have choosen to print:

The first two designs are a bit special because with the tag cloud I want to show my profile, the first shows what I can contribute as person to a new team development and the second shows my technician part and what knowledge I can contribute, this means that this card can be a little profile.

I hope you like it and I had taken the right choice with the designs, if you don’t agree with me, feel free to leave a comment.

Yeah! As you see my shirt design has been accepted in Threadless and now it’s in the running what it means you can vote for my design and make me the choice of win the contest!

If you remember last post of the shirt design, I’ve called it Harakiri and represents the art of killing yourself, this is a practice made by Samurais when he lost his honor as wrote in his code of honor, so I thought this is a poetic act of courage and submissiveness.

A part from the Java development I want to share with you another hobby, I like the design with computer and always I have the oportunity I’m thinkg and developing new designs.

In the other hand, one of my obsessions (yes I’ve got a lot) are the t-shirts, but no the ordinary shirts, I love the custom shirts made by designers, I don’t like go around Barcelona and found a guy with my shirt… yes it’s a bit freak.

So if we join my hobby with my obsessions we get my last work, I’ve designed a shirt to Threadless and you can view and vote (please!) here:
