I’ve just purchased a hosting with namecheap, the same domain provider of visualDelusions.
Since now, the domain was ubicated on my own personal server but I’m tired and I don’t have time to maintain the server, so I’ve decided move the domain to a professional hosting. The package I’ve purchased is the basic and offers the following services at $2,91 per month or $39,95 per year:
- 5 GB space
- 250 GB transfer
- 50 email accounts
- 15 MySQL databases
- 1 domain
- 15 subdomains
- 5 FTP users
- and some email features like: 2000MB, unlimited aliases, webmail…
I pray a little of patience and if you find something wrong, please contact me via email. I’ll notice when the migration is complete.
Thank you all my readers

My software update gives me an impressive notice, Java for Mac OS has an update and adds support for Java 6 SE, as the document in apple says, this version doesn’t change the default version of Java which continue being the 1.5 version.
It’s a great notice for Java developers but I think Apple has been a bit late but as we say in Spain, better late than never

I’m a twitter and soon an iPhone user, so I’m searching for an application to run twitter in the iPhone.
I have found two alternatives:
- MobileTwitter: A simple twitter client which you can see the direct messages and replies at the same window but you have to update your status in another one… You can get it through STE Source for Installer.app,
http://apps.npike.net/repo.xml. The main features are:
- Your timeline
- Direct messages
- Replies
- Public timeline
- Updating your Twitter status
- Reply Directly
- Open tweets on safari
- Twitpic integration
- Twinkle: Nice and simple GUI, very similar to twitterrific and has as main feature geo-location, if you enable it you can see other tweets near to you (of course the other guys must have twinkle). Very funny feature, isn’t it? To install Twinkle you must have Polar Bear Farm source added in Installer.app, http://www.polarbearfarm.com/repo/
If you try one or both tell me your experience! I’ll write when my iPhone comes to me… yeah! my treassssssure!!!
UPDATE
Thanks to Grant through the comments, I have discovered another twitter client for iPhone:
- PocketTweets: Is a web-based client for iPhone. Through a nice interface exclusively designed for iPhone, you can update your twitter status, view friend’s status, direct messages or view public timeline. Personally I prefer a native application than a web-based application but it’s a nice alternative if this apps don’t convince you.

Today is the CSS naked day. This day pretends to become a day without CSS which means the webpages should disable their stylesheets and present the webpage without them. The reason of this movement is to claim the importance of the CSS in our webpages and alert our readers of it.
As you see I have joined to this day. I have done it through a wordpress plugin which disables automatically the CSS at April 9th, you can download it here. As here, I’ll do it on my main webpage, visualDelusions.

The news about the possible iPhone 3G are continuously growing.
Today, AT&T chief has confirmed the release of the so wanted 3G version. He specifically says that in the next months all the mobiles in the AT&T catalog will be 3G, then the release of the new iPhone will be around the next months and personally, I think it will be sooner, as I said before, surely in the next keynote.
So, what about my iPhone? I’ve tried to cancel the order but now it’s delivered and it will be mine around April 30th. I’m sure the new iPhone will be out a little after I get it! I’m totally sure, so I think I’ll sell it soon…

As you know, the other day I bought an iPhone and now I find that Apple seems to be preparing the new iPhone 3G…
I hope it only are rumours but all the net is crying for one of this. The alarm turned on with a rumour which claims asian manufacturers has recieved an important iPhone order, specifically 10 million of new iPhone models!
This new model will have OLED display which is greener (have you readed this Greenpeace???) and consumes less battery than the actual display, it means one of the main problems is solved thanks to this new feature, remember one of the reasons because Apple haven’t implemented the 3G is the battery consume. Another new feature is a natural evolution and comes together 3G, it’s the conference call and of course, the camera in front of the phone to make it possible.
When this new model will be available? Nobody knows except God Jobs, but the rumors says it will be in June, maybe in the next Apple keynote? But the rumors are getting weight thanks to the shortage of the iPhone stock in USA, actually in NYC are having a lot of problems to meet the big demand.
So pray with me… no more iPhones until Sergi has one!

Yeah! The day has arrived… I’ve bought an iPhone through a friend who has family in USA.
Last March 27th I ordered an iPhone at Apple Store and indicated as send address an american address which give me my friend, the payment of the iPhone was realized with my spanish credit card without any problem.
Apple then confirmed my order and said I got the phone in the next 5-6 business days, on March 29th Apple sent me an email saying the phone was sent to the specified address, I hope the next week my friend’s parents will get the iPhone and bring it to me the next April 30th. It will be a long long waiting, meanwhile I’m reading about how to free the iPhone and which software I’ll be able to install. And of course, I’ll download the SDK to play with my phone and who knows, maybe in the future you’ll get a program from me to your iPhone.
I promise some pics of the iPhone when it arrives

Since the announcement of the iPhone’s SDK the community around Apple is very excited and nobody wants to miss this unique opportunity.
The last company who wants to get involved is Adobe, at the last conference call Adobe’s CEO, Shantanu Narayen confirmed his company is working with Apple to bring Flash to the iPhone. This is very good news for iPhone’s users because too many webs use this technology and for now, it can’t be visualized on iPhone. So, this move benefits both Apple and Adobe, because it lets more users and developers come to iPhone’s platform.
I will stay tuned for more news and software development for the iPhone.
